Shelly has a specific major she wants to pursue. Playing sports at the collegiate level is important and she wants to attend a school with her religious affiliation – could an NAIA program be the answer. They have a religious affiliation and offer her particular sport. She needs to focus on her grades and AP courses so she is prepared. She will be taking a Pre-ACT test since she excels in Science and Math. She has identified 30 possible collegiate programs and has begun sending her player profile and requesting media kits and information from each college she has chosen. As her family plans their vacation schedule she will contact the admissions office at various collegiate programs and take “un-official visit” so she can get a feel for campus life and the atmosphere. Now she can visit and evaluate with her family her options for choosing an NAIA www.naia.org - NCAA www.ncaa.org or NJCAA www.njcaa.org institution. Shelly has chosen to pursue NAIA collegiate sports. Here is the letter that sent to the admissions office.
